Pink Bourbon: The Heritage That Blooms.

ree

At Café Primitivo, every varietal tells a story. But Pink Bourbon is more than a coffee variety it is a heritage, a bond between generations, and a reminder that memory, too, can be cultivated.

Years ago, Dilia Correal mother of Ana Maria Donneys made a decision that would shape the future of the family farm: to plant Bourbon Rosado with the intention of creating differentiated crops coffees with identity and purpose. Her vision was pioneering. She believed in diversity long before experimental processes or controlled fermentations were part of the conversation. Yet, she never got to see those plants bloom; her passing left that dream suspended between soil and memory.

Over time, Ana returned to that story. She understood that Bourbon Rosado was not just a varietal, but a legacy a way to honor her mother’s intuition and love, to keep her presence alive among the coffee trees, and to turn remembrance into inspiration.

Today, that same spirit blooms again. In our Primavera and Villa Libia farms, we have planted over 32,000 Bourbon Rosado trees as a symbol of hope, resilience, and continuity. Each plant represents a cycle renewed a way to remember that coffee can also be a language to speak of love, heritage, and purpose.

Beyond its rarity and complexity with floral, sweet, and elegant notes this varietal holds deep meaning for us. It is our way of returning to the roots, reconnecting with those who planted before us, and keeping alive the essence of who we are: a brand that believes in the power of uniting science, tradition, and emotion.

Pink Bourbon a flower that grows between memory and origin.
